Google Roll Out The New Google Ads

It’s happened, as promised by Google in March, their interface has now changed. Google announced earlier this year that the AdWords interface would be retired by the end of 2018 to make way for the new Google Ads. However, no one expected it to be quite this soon.

If you are an advertiser on Google, you might have already had notifications letting you know that your account would be switched over to the new interface. This change started in July and is still ongoing.

Once you are moved over to the new Google Ads, the older outdated AdWords is replaced completely. You won’t be able to revert back to the old interface.

The good news is that this doesn’t change how you can run your campaign or your data. Everything that you had before is still available on the new database.

When Will Your Account Be Switched Over?

You may not have been switched to the new interface just yet. Google are rolling it out in a phased approach and intend for all accounts to be switched over by the end of the years. However, fear not, this does not mean that your account will be switched during the busy holiday months of November and December. Google have already stated they aim to complete the transition before this demand filled shopping period.

What Do You Need To Do?

While your account may still be running on the old interface, there’s no time like the present to get acquainted with the new one.
