UK backlink checklist for ecommerce & retail
For UK online shops and multi-channel retailers, the highest-value links come from shopping engines, review platforms and product editorial — not generic directories.
Don't submit to 30 directories in one day — it looks like a link scheme. Aim for 3-5 submissions per week over 6-8 weeks.
Never buy 'backlink packages', PBN links, or 'guaranteed DA80+ links' on Fiverr. These will get you a Google manual penalty. There are no shortcuts.
Use exactly the same Name, Address, Phone (NAP) format on every listing. Inconsistency confuses Google and dilutes local ranking signals.
